Biomechanics & human factors
Arc Master’s putting feedback only means something because it’s measuring the right thing: the actual arc and face angle of a stroke, not a generic motion signature. We work from the biomechanics of the movement itself, so the data a coach sees maps onto what they’d already be looking for on the green, not a proxy for it.
Precision performance engineering
Quintic Ball Roll needed to hold market-leading motion capture quality while shrinking from multiple separate components into one integrated housing. That meant solving camera and lighting integration, thermal management, and mechanical packaging together, not as separate problems handed to separate teams.
Built for demanding environments
Quintic Ball Roll runs reliably up to 50°C and moves between indoor studios and outdoor ranges without recalibration or babying. Sports equipment gets thrown in cars, left in direct sun, and set up in under a minute between sessions; we design for that handling, not lab conditions.
Small-batch manufacturing & certification
Getting a low-volume, high-precision product certified and manufactured consistently is a different problem to mass consumer production. Quintic Ball Roll needed CE, UKCA, and FCC certification alongside a UK supply chain robust enough to hold quality steady across small production runs, where a single bad batch is a much bigger proportion of what you’ve shipped.
Brand & product identity
Sports technology often has to sell itself to a sceptical, expert audience before it sells to anyone else. Arc Master was one of our first projects to extend beyond product design into full brand development, because a training tool aimed at professionals and coaching bodies needed to look like it belonged in their hands from the first impression, not just perform like it did.
