A certification process learned in defence, a materials choice proven in energy storage, a manufacturing approach refined on a consumer product: that experience travels between projects. What doesn’t change is how we choose the work: we only take on products we believe deserve to exist.

Do you specialise in one sector, or work across all of them?
We work across all six because the underlying engineering discipline is the same. What changes is what’s at stake if it fails. Most of our best thinking on one sector originally came from solving a problem in another.
Do you need to have a working prototype before we can help?
No. We take on projects at every stage, from an idea on paper through to a prototype that isn’t quite working yet.
Can you handle certification and compliance for regulated sectors like defence and health?
Yes. We’re JOSCAR registered and Make UK Defence members for defence work, and we build compliance and certification requirements into the process from day one rather than treating them as a final hurdle.
Do you only work with large companies?
No, we work with startups and established companies alike. The BAE Systems relationship is one end of the spectrum; we’ve also taken early-stage concepts through to manufacture with no prior product on the market.
What if my product doesn’t fit neatly into one sector?
Most interesting products don’t. A wearable health device sits between consumer and health and wellbeing; an energy product might also be industrial. We design around the product, not the category.
Do you manufacture the product yourselves, or manage external partners?
We manage manufacturing partner selection, tooling, and production coordination, and where it makes sense, we bring manufacturing in-house through our own prototyping capability.
