What changes is the standard we’re building to. That’s also why sector-agnostic experience matters: a certification process learned in defence, a materials choice proven in energy, a manufacturing shortcut found on a consumer product – all of it carries across, rather than being solved fresh each time.

BAE Systems is the clearest example. They needed a 7″ avionics display panel for the Typhoon simulator programme, built to defence-grade standards – accuracy, traceability, full documentation. The industry baseline for that kind of work is 18 months. We delivered in 3, working from a dedicated studio inside BAE’s Warton facility. Not by cutting corners – by not needing to relearn the fundamentals of rapid, rigorous product development from a standing start.
The honest answer on timeline is always project-specific. But the pattern holds: sector-agnostic expertise is what turns a 18-month process into a 3-month one, without the shortcuts a client would ever have to worry about.
